COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
We, as a daily practice, assure universal precautions as outlined by the CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Safety is always our number one focus. Our high standard of care ensures that your trust and safety are never compromised. We are taking extended measures during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to further protect all our patients and staff with the following additional protocols:
— In compliance with the recommendations, if you are feeling sick, please call us to reschedule your appointment for two weeks later.
— Only those scheduled for care will be allowed in the office to reduce exposure. Family and/or friends of the patients will be asked to wait outside the office unless the patient requires their assistance during their visit.
— Before your appointment, please stay in your car instead of the waiting room until we’re ready to seat you in your personal operatory. Call us at 847-984-2548 when you arrive, and we will let you know when we are ready for you.
— We encourage patients to complete their paperwork online prior to their appointment to minimize time spent and exposure in the office. Please visit our Patient Forms section.
— We are screening all patients before starting care to assess their COVID-19 risk, including touch-free temperature checks.
— At the beginning of every appointment, we will ask you to use 1% Hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse that has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties.
— In addition to our patients, we are also performing wellness checks for our staff in the same manner as we do for our patients. Before seeing the patients, staff members are checked daily for signs or symptoms of illness, including mandatory touch-free temperature checks.
— Our Dental staff members who show any signs or symptoms of cold, seasonal flu, or COVID-19 are required to stay at home until they have been cleared by their healthcare provider.
— Additionally, we have eliminated paper signature in at the front desk and your signature for treatment plan acceptance.
We appreciate your cooperation during this time of crisis and look forward to seeing you in our office. For any questions or concerns, please call us at 847-984-2548 or send us an email.
